Defence Support Hubs

Serving in the NZDF? The RSA is here for you too.

The Royal New Zealand RSA’s Defence Support Hubs give serving personnel and their whānau easy access to practical, confidential support.

You don’t need to be an RSA member, and our Hub Advisors are independent of the NZDF. What you discuss with them is confidential and won’t be shared with your command chain without your permission.

No membership. No judgement. Confidential support.

You don’t need to be in crisis to talk to us.

Our Hub Advisors can help if you’re dealing with financial pressure, trying to understand what support you may be entitled to, navigating Veterans’ Affairs, ACC or another government agency, or simply aren’t sure where to start.

They can also advocate for you if a claim has been declined, help connect you with support available through the NZDF, and provide support for you or your family where other funding isn’t available.

What happens when you get in touch?

It starts with a conversation.

Your Hub Advisor will listen to what’s going on, talk through your options and help you work out the next step. If resolving an issue needs involvement from your command chain, they’ll discuss that with you first and support you through the process.
