Combined 2nd NZEF/Awarua RSA civic service

Assemble at 0955 am, Returned and service members march on at 10.00 to the music of the Invercargill March. Service commences with the singing of the NZ and Australian National anthems, wreath laying , messages etc and concludes with individuals placing their poppies at the base of the flag pole. Morning tea and hot rum and coffee is then served
