Gaming License Advice

Find out how you can confidentially work through gaming license issues with our new Gaming Liaison Manager.

The Department of Internal Affairs and RSA National Office have developed a close working relationship which will benefit all RSAs seeking advice with gaming licences.

Brendan Demchy, from Waiheke RSA, has been appointed as our RSA Gaming Liaison Manager. This is a new role which acts as a middle point between RSAs seeking confidential advice and the DIA.

Contact Brendan at waiheke.rsa@xtra.co.nz or on 09 372 9019.

Here’s how it works

You approach the RSA Gaming Liaison Manager seeking advice
The RSA Gaming Liaison Manager talks to DIA for assistance, without revealing your RSA’s name. This means they can help you work through gaming licence issues without the threat of your RSA being audited or having your licence suspended
The RSA Gaming Liaison Manager gets back to you with advice

Currently 60% of RSAs with gaming licences have compliance issues with DIA and they see this new process as a way to help RSAs move towards full compliance.
