Support Services

RSA exists to support New Zealand's Returned and Service personnel, and their families.

We are creating more veterans today than any time since World War 2. Of the 41,000 Veterans in New Zealand today, 30,000 have served since the end of the Vietnam War – fully three quarters of our Returned population.

Tens of thousands more have served in the armed forces without participating in a recognised operational deployment. Our Service population is estimated at 100,000 men and women since the end of WW2.

Only by working together, in an efficient, coordinated and effective way can we make sure our people get the support their service has earned them - and that the RSA exists to provide.
