Tomb of the Unknown Warrior Design Plans

The Tomb of the Unknown Warrior has been designed by a team led by New Zealand artist and sculptor Kingsley Baird. The design, inspired by the Southern Cross constellation, possesses a distinctive New Zealand character.

Olympians to Honour War Dead

ANZAC Day in Thailand - "Bridge on the Kwae"

There was a strong New Zealand representation at the ANZAC Day services held in Thailand, at the scene of one of the horrors of WWII "The Bridge over the river Kwae". The Very Reverend Ian Woodman, Padre to Titirangi RSA tells of the moving services held there every year.
