A ROYAL GREETING: RNZRSA National Vice-President Larry Boyle (left) waits in line as Prince Philippe speaks with Nelson-Marlborough-Westland District President Peter Callahan while New Zealand Home Servicemen's Association NEC representative Ben Shardlow is introduced to Princess Mathilde by David Cox RNZRSA National President.

On a short visit to New Zealand last month, Prince Philippe, Crown Prince of Belgium, laid a wreath in the Hall of Memories at the National War Memorial in Wellington to honour the thousands of New Zealanders who lost their lives in his country during two World Wars.

Accompanying the royal party were two Belgian buglers who joined with a New Zealand Army Band trumpeter for the sounding of Last Post.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Prince Philippe met members of RNZRSA's National Executive Committee.
