War Pensions
The Secretary for War Pensions says that only about a third of veterans are taking up their entitlements to War Disablement Pensions.

Women who serve or have served with the New Zealand Forces
We often forget about the women who served in the Forces and received a Service Number. They too are entitled to make applications for War Disablement Pensions.

Suicide Help
At recent Pensions and Welfare Committee meetings at RNZRSA National Office, concern was raised on the incidence of suicide among our veteran members of the RSAs.

Northland Cataract Project Report
In 2002 the Northland District Executive, concerned at the number of veterans, and in particular WW2 veterans, waiting for cataract surgery, undertook a pilot project to fast-track operations using the private system.
