Community Services Cards Changes

First, I have again to offer my apologies to you about some bad information. This is about the High User Health Card Freephone number that a number of you have tried to access. The Ministry of Health has changed the number and you should now ring 0800 252 464 and select option 1. This will then allow you to make your enquiries. The number was apparently changed two weeks after I first received the information.

Also those people who might be considering making a claim for a Community Services Card should know that the income limits have been changed from 1 April 2003. Leaflets with the new income limits are available in your RSA, your pharmacist, the CAB or your local Work and Income office.
