Pensions and Welfare Assistance

RSA commitment to War Veterans

The RSA takes responsibility for ensuring that every ex-serviceman and woman is aware of the pensions and other benefits which they may be entitled to, whether or not they are members of an Returned Services’ Association.

War Pension Advice

Advice about entitlements and assistance in making applications for War Disability Pensions and Veterans Pensions is readily available to RSA members and non-members alike, from the Welfare Officer at each local RSA and from RNZRSA National Headquarters in Wellington.

Assistance should be sought in the first instance from the Welfare Officer at an RSA close to your home.

Advocacy Services

RNZRSA provides a free advocacy service for pensioners taking claims to the War Pensions Appeal Board.
