RSA is ‘People Helping People’

RSA people rally to help fellow New Zealanders in need and the ex-service community in particular.

They are a part of a New Zealand-wide network of over 170 Returned Services’ Associations each affiliated to the Royal New Zealand Returned Services’ Association.

RSA help is available to eligible war veterans and their families whether or not they are RSA members, and to the wider New Zealand community.

Welfare Services

RSA is one of the largest voluntary welfare organisations in New Zealand. Above all the RSA movement is committed to ensuring that every ex-serviceman and woman receives the pensions and other benefits to which they are entitled, whether or not they are members of a Returned Services’ Association.

RSA in the Community

RSA plays a central role in community life and gives generous sponsorship to all kinds of community projects. Many New Zealanders have at some time visited a local RSA, dined in an RSA family restaurant, or benefited from RSA support of a community event or national charity.

Youth Support

RSA plays an important role in supporting New Zealand youth. At both national and local level, RSA is committed to a variety of youth mentoring and education projects that share the aims of the RNZRSA.

Support RSA

The valuable welfare and community work undertaken by the RSA movement in New Zealand is only possible with the generous support of the New Zealand public. Make a donation, apply to join the RSA, subscribe to RSA Review, or make a bequest in your will to RNZRSA.
